- Perform quantity take-offs with estimating software (On-screen Takeoff and Quick Bid)
- Review and analyze bids for project specifications, price, material quality, and other related items
- Timely request vendor / specialty supplier pricing
- Create and prepare cost estimates for projects
- Accurately price change orders for on-going work
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing support where needed, and continually seek new opportunities with our customer base
- Actively and professionally collaborate in the activities of cost estimating as a function of sales, project management, purchasing and production prep
- Follow up with open estimates until awarded
- Discuss and resolve any questions with contractor prior to submission of final estimate
